Chris Osowski was appointed to Chief Executive Officer in August 2025. Mr. Osowski joined Green Plains as Executive Vice President, Operations & Technology in January 2022. In that role, Mr. Osowski helped build and maintain a talented and motivated team focused on safety, operational excellence and continuous improvement.
With more than 20 years of global leadership experience across the chemical, agribusiness, and renewable energy sectors, Mr. Osowski is widely recognized for driving operational transformation, innovation and sustainable growth in complex industrial environments.
Prior to joining Green Plains, Mr. Osowski was Vice President, Global Technology, with ADM, where he led the development of five-year strategic capital plans focused on organic and inorganic growth initiatives, cost improvement projects, sustainability objectives, and overall equipment effectiveness. He led the coordination of technology centers of excellence across ADM’s organization globally. In addition, Mr. Osowski previously held leadership roles in Europe and Asia.
Mr. Osowski also held leadership positions with POET, Renewable Energy Group and Tate & Lyle in general management, operations, engineering, supply chain management and procurement.
Mr. Osowski holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering from North Dakota State University and an MBA from Minnesota State University.
